All staff will enter into a contract as independent contractors with ResCare, a private organization that serves people with disabilities. You will be required to submit to a background check, including finger printing, conducted by ResCare. (You may also need to participate in one or more ResCare orientations.)
STEP 3: You will also need to submit photocopies of the following:
*If you do not already have these certifications, you will need to acquire them at your own expense as soon as possible. This training is offered by the local Red Cross.
**This screening can be obtained inexpensively at the local health department.
STEP 4: Make arrangements for pre-employment drug testing.
All job applicants will undergo testing for the presence of illegal drugs as a condition of employment. Any applicant with a confirmed positive test will be denied employment. We will discuss making the arrangements for this pre-employment drug testing with you.
